ANNOUNCEMENTS:

We have been hearing about some confusion regarding appointment windows and arrival times recently. The start of your appointment time is when you are to be present. Your appointment slot is not an arrival window - if you are booked from 1:00-1:30, that means I have 30 minutes allotted to complete your full visit, including paperwork, jewelry selection, sterilization, piercing and aftercare. If I have you booked for a longer slot than that - it is because I am anticipating needing more time for your service - and I never want to rush. This feeds right into our late policy which is detailed below, and it has become enough of a problem that leniency will no longer be granted in these cases, and they will be handled according to the policy.

*Booking Fees are required to secure your appointment and are non-refundable. This is most easily done via the booking tab right here on the website for piercings. In the event you would rather book in person or with cash, you’re welcome to slide into the shop during regular business hours and we can help that way as well. Appointments will NOT be accepted over the phone.

*IDs/Paperwork MUST be present when checking in for your appointment. Proper identification is required for all services, a list of requirements can be found in the FAQ. Short answer is this - we need to be able to prove that you are you, and if you are a minor - that you are you and the guardian with you has the legal right to sign for you. If you are unsure whether you have the appropriate documents, please reach out for clarification before booking. Clients who arrive without necessary documentation will forfeit their booking fee and appointment slot, absolutely

*Children in the Studio - while we offer certain piercing services to very young clients - when those young people are not clients, they don’t make great support humans and rather tend to be into everything, under foot, and quite a hazardous distraction for all artists working. So, if your little one is not the one having a service done, please find other places for them to be while we’re working on ya!

*Late Policy - Clients who arrive 10 or more minutes past their scheduled time will forfeit their booking fee and appointment slot.

*Attitudes: This one, I NEED people to understand is a HUGE one - and a very big part of why we sat to refine policies, and opted to bring an end to walk in Wednesdays. Show up like you want to be here. There isn’t a single human in this building that deserves the shitty attitudes they’ve been catching from clients, and frankly - I am aggressively done with it. If you’re incapable of or unwilling to just come in and act appropriately - you WILL be asked to leave. I WILL keep your deposit. And at this point, I will blacklist you from future bookings. Sounds way more fun to just show up and have fun, right? As an addition to this section - this does apply to EVERY member of the Collective. If you ask a piercing question of ANY of us, regarding your service, ID, literally anything - the answer you get is THE answer. You’re not going to get a different answer asking for Face. We do not have secretaries or dedicated front of house, your answers are coming from licensed professionals. And on a personal note - a lot of the unacceptable treatment has been toward apprentices - and I know that’s only because of the general perception of them being ‘less than’. That’s a real garbage take, and it’s not the environment we have here, and it isn’t one we want here. If you can’t treat the new kid with the same respect as the lifers - don’t come to us, please. <3

Winter Weather

Well, friends - we knew it was upon us and it has already started it’s nonsense. Once the snow starts hitting, please understand this - I do NOT want any of you out and about when you feel unsafe on the roads. Even day of, if road conditions are making you second guess showing up, that’s ok!! Just reach out as soon as you’re able, and I will get you rescheduled. I am NOT in the business of keeping deposits over snow cancellations. Obviously, I trust everyone not to take advantage of it - you try that when it’s 70 and sunny on dry roads - it will not work. But, act like ya got some sense and if it’s not safe to get here - hit me up, and we’ll scoot that appointment out, no harm done.
